really are odd... like theyre either the most welcoming fandoms ever, or everyone in there is just pure evil, or somewhere in between??? o dont get how so many people are mad over stuff like shipping and headcanons in fandoms, or how they get upset over the smallest "mischaracterization" of a character, like please calm down! either that or theyre complaining about how "new gen" fans of media will ruin the media somehow... (Cough cough tshd fandom im not even in it but like whys everyone insane) i feel like we just need to sit back, relax, and enjoy the damn show like its never that deep im telling you!!!!!!!! youll live if one person has an ever so slightly different opinion than you or the rest of the people in your fandom. why cant we just all hug and go on our merry ways?? Okay but on another note, at the same time fandom culture has also heavily improved like some fandoms used to be horrifyingly toxic, so i guess that's one good thing that changed as time passed! like its great to see how people actually respect others too. um, sometimes haha........... but this IS the internet so it's just kinda expected that there are weirdos everywhere. thats the end of my rant!!! i guess it's kinda never that big of a deal but whatever
